Operating principle: Automatic Electric Gun
Ammunition: 6mm BB
Availability: Sold out

Thompson M1A1 is one of those coveted and in some respect prestigious infantry small arms of World War II. For the GIs the Thompson M1A1 marked special status as not everyone was issued with one. In WWII militaries typically only NCOs carried submachine guns and Thompson's weapon had already gathered fame during the 1920s unrest in United States.

The M1A1 was military version of Thompson's original privately funded M1928 gun. In M1A1 the firing pin and hammer were removed and replaced with machining replacement firing pin to the face of bolt. The M1A1 production commenced at the end of 1942 and more than 1.3 million were made.

You are viewing custom manufactured Thompson M1A1 that is using the trusted Tokyo Marui electric gun as a base. The plastic stock and handguard have been replaced with real wood parts that are model gun-like in quality and combined with good quality receiver they are critical in creating realistic airsoft Thompson M1A1.

Besides the realistic looks the Thompson M1A1 sports performance of 750-850rds per minute rate of fire and effective range up to 50 meters. It is also very accurate. One battery charge is sufficient for more than 3000 shots and several different type of magazines are provided for the gun (realistic looking 20 & 30-round magazines that can house up to 420 BBs each). TOKYO MARUI THOMPSON M1A1 AUTOMATIC ELECTRIC GUN (AEG) REPLICA

Following the popularity of Saving Private Ryan movie Tokyo Marui made intensive effort to develop Thompson M1A1 as an automatic airsoft gun. It took years of R&D for Tokyo Marui to come up with the special version six gearbox design that was adapted inside the slim Thompson M1A1 receiver. At the time of its release the version six gearbox represented the cutting edge in airsoft technology and is still adapted to various custom gun designs whenever the slimmest design of internal mechanism is needed.

This Tokyo Marui's Thompson M1A1 electric gun version is extremely well made with full metal receiver and outer barrel. The wooden parts are carefully created from plastics and will fool anyone from distane to believe its real wood. For anyone looking to increase realism of their Tokyo Marui Thompson M1A1 , these "wood furniture" plastic replica parts can be replaced with CAW wood kit that we offer as option.

The performance of the Tokyo Marui Thompson M1A1 automatic electric gun is very good for airsoft gun replica with 750-850rds per minute rate of fire and effective range up to 50 meters.

At weight of 3,410g the Tokyo Marui Thompson M1A1 is quite heavy for airsoft gun and this can be credited to its metal receiver and outer barrel. Changing to the optional wooden stock, pistol grip and hand guard will even add to the weight.

8.4v large-type battery is housed inside the stock and adjustable hop up mechanism can be found inside the chamber. It is exposed by pulling back the charging handle. Three types of magazines are produced by Tokyo Marui for this mode: normal long magazine (modelled after the real Thompson M1A1 30rnd magazine), short 190 hi-capacity magazine (modelled after the real Thompson M1A1 20rnd magazine) and a long 420 BB hi-capacity magazine (modelled after the real Thompson M1A1 30rnd magazine).

Tokyo Marui Thompson M1A1 AEG should not be confused with low-end Chinese airsoft guns as the Tokyo Marui product is made in Japan to the highest quality standards and it features the highly accurate shooting performance thanks to its finely tuned internal mechanism and patented Hop Up system. The Tokyo Marui Thompson M1A1 AEG is intended for long-term active use and is thus expected to last.
