This is a completely new production model that was released on 2011 and is specifically modelled after 1943 manufactured US Army Colt M1911A1.

Featuring 48 parts with extremely accurate fitting, which makes this model extremely sturdy feeling. Operates and disassembles exactly like the real. Features functional thumb and grip safeties, magazine ejection, slide lock and other real M1911A1 details. Accurate frame and slide markings from 1943-era production M1911A1.
